(NaturalNews) There's a popular video circulating on the 'net right now about how to escape handcuffs without using a key. Americans are watching the video to bone up on essential skills that will soon be needed for health care reform, it seems, since the new laws that are about to be put in place call for Americans to be arrested and thrown in jail if they refuse to buy health insurance.

This has now been confirmed by Tom Barthold, the Chief of Staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation. And it's not merely about jail time; it's also about the $25,000 fine that could be levied by the IRS against individuals who refuse to buy health insurance.

That this is even being considered just boggles the mind. If a person is too broke to afford health insurance right now, how are they supposed to be able to buy it after paying a $25,000 fine and spending a year in prison?

As Paul Craig Roberts brilliantly pointed out in a recent essay, this is like trying to solve the homeless problem by forcing homeless people to buy a home, then throwing them in prison when they can't afford to.

A conservative pragmatist writer from Malaysia. His first work of fiction, Perempuan Politikus Melayu (2000) loosely centres on a rich politician who confiscated some farmers’ land without mercy. He was only 19 when he wrote it. His second novel, Cinta Hari-Hari Rusuhan (2000) touched on the student movement in the 60's and the infamous Baling demonstration. Both early works are about human rights and oppression.

Faisal denied Islamic extremism label when he speaks frankly to Bissme S. about his controversial image in Malaysian 'Sun' (July 31st, 2008): "People who do not read my stuff will jump to that conclusion. Just because I write about Islam, people think I am an extremist. I feel I write more about human rights and oppression than Islam. Human rights is part of religion. When the film Fitna was shown, people wanted Malaysians to boycott products from Holland. I opposed the idea. I believed such boycott would get us no where. In fact, I said let us muhasabah (look within ourselves) and ask why this film-maker (Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders) created that film. Personally, I felt Fitna was depicting Osama bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader. It is not me. I do not interpret the Quran like that .That guy (Osama) interpreted the Quran like that. Extremism is an act by certain groups. It is not related to Islam at all. Geert Wilders wrote Fitna because he is confused. Let us have a discussion about this and find ways to solve this."

I expressed my personal view through this film, Sehari Bersama Pelampau Anti Kebun Binatang: As Sadiq mention in this film, everything has been set by Allah swt, including sending the Prophets to make it clear. We are from HIM swt and we are returning back to HIM swt.

The purpose of my life is to "be on the right path" and stick to it according to my capacities and capabilities assigned to me on the journey to return to HIM swt. In the journey to return to HIM swt, I have to be a passenger on a special ship called "Ship of Salvation" and the Commanders are Muhammad wa aali Muhammad. Therefore, whatever I do on the ship (let it be a film maker or a fiction writer) will be okay as long as all the actions that I make come directly from the Commanders that in Charge.

Once I see the path, I will follow it, hold to it and die for it. Everyone will see the path if he/she is sincere. Once on the path, the person will have a clear vision of the "real purpose" of life. This is when the fun starts. All these answers were addressed in my first film, Sehari Bersama Pelampau Anti Kebun Binatang.

War Criminals

War crimes includes violations of established protections of the laws of war, but also include failures to adhere to norms of procedure and rules of battle, such as attacking those displaying a flag of truce, or using that same flag as a ruse of war to mount an attack. Attacking enemy troops while they are being deployed by way of a parachute is not a war crime.
